TEAMS Coordinator Job Description

SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM TEACHER - BUHL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Tuscaloosa’s One Place is seeking After School Program Teachers for Buhl Elementary School. To qualify, candidates should be 21 years of age or older with a background in social work or education and prior experience working with children and supervising them. Candidates must be cleared through the Child Abuse Central Registry and pass a background check, including fingerprinting. Candidates will be expected to work two hours and a half per day during the school year, Monday through Friday 2:45pm until 5:15pm with an additional half hour planning time for each day teaching.

$15 Hourly rate for non-degreed staff; $17 hourly rate for degreed staff; $20 hourly rate for certified teachers.

TOP is seeking experienced Social Workers. Duties include providing interventions, social and emotional support, and case management services to children and families in a school setting. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work is required. Preference given to candidates with current Alabama Social Work license. INTERNSHIPS

TOP is looking for interns interested in learning about the social service field.  Interns should expect to learn all TOP programs, and upon successful completion of their internship, will be prepared to enter any social service position with excellent skills.  Applicants should have strong communication skills and should be majoring in social work, psychology, human and child development, counseling, sociology or related field.  Interns should have strong writing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.  Internships are unpaid placements.
